Agreement

By using Career Chats, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Age and adult involvement

The chat feature is currently intended for people age 13 and older. If you are under 18, use the service with a parent, guardian, teacher, or other trusted adult’s awareness and follow their rules. Children under 13 must not use the chat feature.

What Career Chats provides

Career Chats is an educational career-exploration tool. Animal guides are AI characters. Their responses are generated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or wrong.

Your responsibilities

• Ask age-appropriate questions about careers, learning, skills, and work.
• Do not submit personal or confidential information about yourself or anyone else.
• Do not attempt to bypass safety controls, extract private instructions or credentials, damage the service, or use it for illegal or harmful activity.
• Check important information using reliable sources.
• Stop and tell a trusted adult if a response feels unsafe, upsetting, or inappropriate.

Content and feedback

You keep any rights you have in text you submit. You give us permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and meet legal obligations. Do not submit material you do not have a right to use. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or attribution.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the service. We may block requests or access that threaten safety, security, or availability. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Career Chats and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on AI output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so part of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an updated version is posted means you accept the revised Terms.
